New on SI: How Many Rushing Yards Will Dalvin Cook Have in 2020?

Dalvin Cook had a career year for the Minnesota Vikings last season. What will he do for an encore? Minnesota running back Dalvin Cook became a star in fantasy football in 2019. The former Florida State standout put together his best season in the NFL, averaging over 20 PPR points per game in a run-heavy Vikings offense. Only Christian McCaffrey (29.3) and Michael Thomas (23.4) were more productive on a per-game basis. Cook managed to finish as the overall RB6 in PPR scoring formats despite missing two games due to injury. As long as Cook is healthy, he is in an excellent spot once again in 2020. The Vikings offense is going to be predicated on the legs of one of the league’s elite running backs once again. InsideTheVikings Reporter Will Ragatz believes that Cook is the best running back in the NFC North thanks to his vision, acceleration, agility, and power that also puts him in the discussions of the top-five best running backs in the entire NFL. What are the oddsmakers sayi...

New on SI: Bet the Over on Dalvin Cook’s Rushing Prop

Can a healthy Dalvin Cook Surpass 1160.5 yards With Ease in the 2020 Season? Despite missing two games in 2019, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook finished with 1,135 rushing yards and scored 13 touchdowns on the ground. However, he failed to play all 16 games for the third time in his short three-year career and missed two games in 2019 due to a shoulder injury. According to Draftkings sportsbook, the Vikings rusher has an Over/Under rushing total of 1,160.5 yards which would be a career-high.  We asked Sports Illustrated’s fantasy and gambling analyst Frank Taddeo and InsideTheVikings editor Will Ragatz their thoughts on if gamblers should take the over or under.  Read the full transcript from their conversation: Bill Enright: In 2019, Dalvin Cook rushed for over 1100 yards in just 14 games but can he get to 1160 yards in 2020. That's the magic number the oddsmakers have his rushing yard player props set at. Let's go to Frank Taddeo, our gambling analyst, and Will Ragat...

New on SI: Draft or Pass: Chris Carson's Talent Far Exceeds ADP

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson is being severely undervalued by the fantasy drafters. SI Fantasy expert Jaime Eisner explains why. It's never too early to start your fantasy football research, and we here at SI Fantasy want to provide you with the best information possible heading into your drafts. Our "Draft or Pass" video series takes a closer look at a fantasy player that will be debated often leading up to fantasy drafts. Are our hosts targeting this player specifically? Are they avoiding him entirely? Today's video focuses on Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson. Draft or Pass at current ADP: 35.3 (RB19)? I understand why some have reservations when it comes to trusting Carson as an RB2. He has injury concerns and had problematic fumbling issues last season that could cost him playing time if they continue in 2020. However, I don't believe he's one fumble away from losing the starting job. Rashaad Penny will get more work in 2020 w...

New on SI: Fantasy Football: Top 50 Dynasty TEs

Fantasy football managers shouldn't forget about the tight end position when building a dynasty team. Here's who you should build around. The dynasty format elevates fantasy football by making the game more closely resemble the real world. There’s no reset button every season. Your decisions have lasting consequences and benefits that ripple out for years into the future. Other Dynasty Rankings: QB | RB | WR |  DL | LB | DB 1. George Kittle - 49ers - Age: 26 Although Travis Kelce is a touch better right now, Kittle gets the nod for having a presumably longer career ahead of him. It also helps that the 49ers don’t have a dominant WR1 to compete with him for targets. 2. Travis Kelce - Chiefs - Age: 30 I wouldn’t fault you for having Kelce in the top spot. He’s been the most reliable and productive member of the Chiefs offense for years now. And that offense looks like it’ll be at or near the best in the league as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center. 3. Mark Andr...

Productive and consistent tight ends are hard to come by in fantasy football leagues and even more so in dynasty formats. Fantasy managers with Travis Kelce and George Kittle already on the roster should count their blessings but not all fantasy managers are lucky enough to have those studs on their squads. For the complete list of DeLima’s tight end rankings in dynasty leagues, check out his article.
