The NFL and the players are discussing how to proceed with league business while the version of the CBA proposed by the owners awaits a vote by the players. INDIANAPOLIS— At the NFL’s annual convention, the scouting combine, the entire league is waiting eagerly to see if a majority of the approximately 2,000 NFL players will vote yes on the proposed new 10-year collective bargaining agreement . On his way into a competition committee meeting Wednesday morning, NFL Players Association president Eric Winston said the union has not yet set the details for the players’ vote. “I have said repeatedly, there will be white smoke when there is white smoke,” said Winston, the retired offensive tackle. “And listen, the one thing we are not doing is rushing into anything. The one thing we are not doing is rushing through this. NFL players are expressing their displeasure with the new proposed CBA after the NFLPA reps approved the new terms. NFL owners' proposed collective bargaining agreement will be voted on by the players for final approval, but some of the league's stars are already speaking out against the deal. Representatives of the NFLPA announced early Wednesday  that the group voted 17-14 to allow the proposed CBA to be decided by full NFL membership. The deal would include a switch to a 17-game season, additional roster spots, a shorter preseason, increased revenue for players, and improved pensions for former players. The decision to have the players vote on the deal is an indicator that it is likely to pass, but Russell Wilson has already made his vote clear. Aaron Rodgers is reportedly another player who opposes the proposal. FCC releases e-mails from viewers angered by Jennifer Lopez/Shakira performance 1 . "The simulated patting of J Lo’s derrière is not for family television." That was just one of 1,312 complaints that the FCC received from outraged viewers after Jennifer Lopez and Shakira performed at halftime of Super Bowl LIV . Most of the people who bothered to e-mail the FCC cited the same thing: THINK ABOUT THE KIDS. Apparently, the youth of America will no longer be the same after watching J-Lo and Shakira dance around in skimpy outfits.  One of the interesting things about the complaints, though, is the great detail some people provided.
